The timings are 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm, with lunchtime from 1 pm to 2 pm. Each has a different specialization namely Cardiologist, Orthodontist, Neurologist, Paediatrician, Gynaecologist, Urologist, Radiologist and General Physician.

> The orthodontist visits right after lunch and is followed by R who is a female.

Let’s use the direct clues first.

Now let’s use other clues:

> The Neurologist is at the same place after lunch as the Gynaecologist before lunch and comes right after Urologist.

From the table above, we can see that Gynaecologist can only come in at the third place before lunch. Therefore, Neurologist also comes in at the third place and Urologist comes in at the second place after lunch.

Since R is Urologist, she must be the younger daughter.

> The mother comes in at the same place before lunch as the younger son P after lunch.

Since the mother comes in at the third place before lunch, P also comes in at the third place after lunch.

> There is only one place left in the ‘Person’ column. That must be W and he must be the elder son.

Now let’s answer the questions:

1. General Physician is a female, and she comes at noon. So, B is the correct option.

2. R is a Urologist by specialization and is Cardiologist’s younger daughter. So, D is the correct option.

3. U is Paediatrician by specialization and is Cardiologist’s elder daughter. Three persons visit the clinic before U after lunch. So, if the lunch break and subsequence working hours are reduced by 15 minutes, U will visit the clinic [15 + 3(15)] =  60 minutes earlier, which is 4:00 pm. Therefore, D is the correct option.

It is given that the husband is older than the wife. So, V is older than P.

> V does not have any son.

This implies that Q is the daughter of V.

This implies that S must be the parent of U and T must be the wife of U.
