A singleton set is the one which contains only one element.

Let’s see a few examples of singleton sets:

1. Set of all even prime numbers: {2}

Since 2 is the only even prime number, this set has only one element.

2. Set of months having less than 30 days: {February}

3. Set of months beginning with the letter ‘N’: {November}

4. Set of natural numbers which are neither prime nor composite: {1}

5. Set of non-negative integers which are not natural numbers: {0}
